Executive summary

Noonday Operations Hub is the staff's own working system. It holds the standard operating procedures for recurring work, tracks goals under three priorities — scale, connect, innovate — and manages events from planning through post-event reports. It also keeps pastor and church records, communication tasks, newsletters, print quotes, monthly plans, weekly check-ins, and a scorecard. SOPs link out to the matching Asana project so the written process and the task board stay together.

What it is

A private, staff-only workspace with Google sign-in and two roles, admin and team.

Purpose for Noonday

Noonday's recurring work lived in people's memories and scattered Asana boards. This gives the staff one place where the process is written down, the goals are visible, and progress is measured the same way every month.

Who it serves — Noonday staff and leadership

  • Staff running recurring processes
  • Team leads tracking goals and check-ins
  • Leadership reviewing the scorecard
  • Admins managing users, SOPs, and resources

Features included

  • SOP library with per-process pages and Asana links
  • Goals tracked under scale, connect, and innovate priorities
  • Events with task lists and post-event reports
  • Pastor and church records with touchpoints
  • Communications tasks, newsletters, and stories
  • Print quotes and product records
  • Monthly plans, weekly check-ins, and scorecard snapshots
  • Automation ideas backlog and a resource library

How it works

  1. 1A staff member signs in with Google.
  2. 2The first user becomes admin; later signups join as team members.
  3. 3Work follows the written SOP for each recurring process.
  4. 4Events, goals, and communications tasks are tracked on their own screens.
  5. 5Weekly check-ins and monthly plans feed the scorecard.
  6. 6Leadership reviews scorecard snapshots over time.

What runs automatically

  • Roles assigned automatically on signup, with the first user promoted to admin
  • Asana links stored on SOPs, events, and tasks to jump to the matching board
  • No AI, email sending, or scheduled jobs yet — scorecard snapshots are captured in the app rather than on a timer

Notes for leadership

Not published yet, and the most natural candidate for adding automation next: Asana is currently linked by URL rather than connected through its API.
